Location: Kiev, Ukraine

So not really there, but hope to be! I recently received an email from this company called the International Language programs, and they send people to China, Ukraine, or Russia to teach native children to speak English. I got word about this and fell in love with the thought! I had been wanting to do it for a little bit now, and finally just decided to find out what I could.

The news is not good though! $1,520. Plus the flight which right now is lookin to be somewhere around $300. Making my total $1,820. Hmm, Yep, Sara is a rich college kid!! Haha, NOT! So maybe this summer if I work real hard and save big time, I can have the money to pay much of my student loans, save for my mish and get to go to the Ukraine. Haha, but maybe not! Shadda. The Lady told me that I could go out and ask for donations and that many would want to donate, afterall they are a tax write off. But am I the only one who would feel weird doing that? I guess so huh? Ah well. Anyhow, So these are just some random thoughts on where Sara is.

Location: Pottenstein, Germany

So this weekend I went down to Pottenstein. It's a small city that we used to live by when we were first here. Amazing little village. Unfortunately, no pictures. Ah well. Anyhow, so I went for a YSA retreat and conference. It was soooo good. I struggled to get to it. For many reasons, but am happy I finally did. It taught me a lot and aside from the pounding of, "WHY AREN'T YOU ALL MARRIED YET?" it was a really good conference.

While there I started to hang out with some guys. Fun guys, brothers, from Frankfurt. They are nice lookin young kids. One is just younger than I, the other 23 and a recent RM (Being German they leave on a mish later, for whatever reasons). So we were all having fun and hanging, and then on the last night we were there one of my friends leaned over while chillin and whispered, "Those are Elder Kopishke's sons." Elder Kopishke, if you do not know, was recently called to be a 70, and is an awesome man! I couldn't believe that his sons were normal like anyone else. I mean not that he couldnt' have normal sons, but they were just so, calm and level headed. I never expected GA's sons to be like that. Anyhow, so it was a good conference and good times. Wish I had gotten pictures because there was this one house that we demolished the outside for a service project. It was good.
